In 2024, The 7-Fifteen Philanthropic Foundation took a significant step in advancing social welfare by partnering with The Dorcas Cancer Foundation (TDCF) . This collaboration stems from a shared vision to improve the lives of children battling cancer in Nigeria, by providing financial assistance, facilitating access to quality treatment, and raising awareness about the importance of early detection.
What We Aim To Acheive
Childhood cancer remains a significant health challenge in Nigeria. Limited access to early diagnosis, advanced treatment options, and financial constraints contribute to much lower survival rates compared to developed nations.
Many families are faced with the heartbreaking dilemma of choosing between life-saving treatment and meeting basic needs, often resulting in delayed care or treatment abandonment.
Through our partnership with TDCF, we are working to bridge this gap by offering crucial support to children in need and their families.
How We Plan To Make a Difference
Since 2015, The Dorcas Cancer Foundation has been at the forefront of the fight against childhood cancer—providing life-saving interventions, research-backed treatment, and psychosocial support to young patients and their families.
Through this partnership, The 7-Fifteen Foundation is funding and supporting key TDCF initiatives, including:
✔️ The Action4Kids Program – A fundraising initiative that connects individuals and organizations with children in need of cancer treatment sponsorship.
✔️ The Home for Treatment Program – Providing accommodation for families whose children require long-term cancer care, helping to reduce treatment abandonment rates.
✔️ Medical Consumables & Care Kits – Supplying pediatric oncology wards with essential medical supplies, easing the financial burden on families and hospitals.
✔️ Advocacy & Awareness Campaigns – Supporting TDCF’s efforts like the “Look Again” campaign, which trains healthcare professionals to improve early detection of childhood cancers.
